Richard E. Hyman, Executive Director. Diver, photographer and navigator aboard Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau’s famed ship Calypso. His memoir, FROGMEN, details the four expeditions. 


Katerina Zapfe is a second year masters student at Clemson University. Kat aims to combine fine art and science through outreach programs, education initiatives, and scientific research. Her current work focuses on phylogenomics and diversification dynamics in marine fishes. She enjoys photography, scuba diving, and caring for her ever-growing orchid collection.

Hetal Patel is entering her sophomore year at the University of Southern California, where she is studying Environmental Sciences.  She is passionate about conservation and volunteerism, and enjoys traveling. She plans to study abroad in New Zealand or Europe while completing her undergraduate degree.

Zach MacMillan-Kenny is entering his junior year at Dalhousie University located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where he is studying Marine Biology.  He is passionate about life within the ocean, conservation, film-making and photography. He plans to pursue underwater film-making like Jacques Cousteau.
